Co-operative Housing Societies (CHS) is all about co-operation but that is what is lacking in almost most of the Co-operative Housing Societies in Mumbai and that this the reason why so many issues in each and every Co-operative Housing Societies.  Various Act, Rules, Regulations and Byelaws are already there to provide resolutions to most of the issues arising in a Co-operative Housing Societies but there are some which can be interpreted in different ways and thus cause unnecessary issues in a Housing Society. 

Most of the Co-operative Housing Societies are either due to (1) Ego (2) Lack of knowledge about the Co-operative Housing Societies Act, Rules and Bye-laws that govern the Co-operative Housing Societies in Maharashtra and how and where to apply these for smooth running of the Society.
